Since 1964, the New Jersey-Metro New York Collegiate Baseball Umpires Association has provided collegiate baseball umpires to colleges and universities located in the New Jersey and metropolitan New York area, and to summer collegiate baseball leagues throughout the north east.

Our organization's goals are to:

  • Provide and maintain the highest standards of baseball officiating;
  • Promote the interests of our members and the officiating community;
  • Provide training and education to the membership;
  • Recruit new members who are qualified to work the collegiate level of baseball
CBUA membership is open to any qualified umpire residing in the New Jersey or metropolitan New York area who meets our membership requirements. Interested candidates should click on the above link to submit an application. Annual field and written tests take place in September.
